From May 1, 2020, an 18-hole FootGolf course is open for you at the Black Stork golf resort in Veľká Lomnica on the Vardon golf course (C). We look forward to seeing you in the High Tatras!

FootGolf combines the two most popular sports in the world: soccer and golf. It is played with a classic soccer ball on a golf course with holes 53 cm in diameter. The godfather of the FootGolf course is soccer player Ján Kozák Jr.

You can play FootGolf every day from 2:00 p.m. (except Saturdays) until the end of the season.

When soccer and golf merge into one.

Just dress in sportswear (or clothing similar to that worn by golfers: shorts or long pants and a polo shirt, no soccer clothing, but socks are fine), put on sneakers (no soccer cleats, we recommend turf shoes or indoor sneakers) and bring a size 5 soccer ball (we will be happy to lend you one at the golf reception if necessary).

The rules of footgolf are largely the same as those of golf. The score is calculated as in golf, where every stroke counts, but players use their feet to kick the soccer ball across the fairway to the hole. The lowest number of kicks determines the winner. The footgolf hole is located outside the green, so golfers are not restricted in any way. The same applies to the game itself, where footgolf players must reserve a tee time and proceed through the holes in the same way as golfers.

Each player has their own ball and there are a maximum of 4 players in a group. The ball is kicked from the tee along the fairway towards the hole. The tee kick can only be kicked from the ground and the player can kick with their left or right foot. Each contact with the ball counts as one kick. An unplayable ball under a tree or similar is picked up no closer to the hole and the player is awarded one penalty point. The player who gets the ball into the hole with the fewest number of kicks wins. The winner is the player with the lowest score or who has won the most holes.

There is no running, shouting, or swearing on the course. Players are courteous to other players. Slower players should allow faster groups to pass them. Players must repair sand bunkers.

The popularity of this sport is growing enormously around the world, with the most courses in the Netherlands, England, the USA, and Argentina. Former world soccer stars also support and actively play the game.
