OPERATING RULES OF THE BLACK STORK GOLF RESORT IN VEĽKÁ LOMNICA
General provisions
1.1. The OPERATING RULES clearly define the rules, rights, and obligations of all visitors to the golf resort.
1.2. The course consists of three 9-hole courses: Taylor, Braid, and Vardon courses at the Black Stork complex, each with a par of 36 (i.e., tees, fairways, greens, and other areas), the driving range, practice areas (putting and chipping greens), paths, and rest areas on the course.
1.3. The resort complex comprises the golf courses, parking spaces, golf reception areas, adjacent buildings, the main entrance to the complex, access roads, footpaths, and maintenance areas.
1.4. Visitors to the resort are golfers and their companions, visitors to social events taking place on the premises, persons passing through the premises, and other persons, including members of the Lomnický Golf Club, hereinafter referred to as visitors to the resort.
1.5. The operator of the premises is Asset Inter s.r.o., which ensures the operation, service, and maintenance of the golf course through authorized company employees and other employees.
1.6. These RULES OF OPERATION represent the rules established by the resort operator. Anyone entering the resort premises expresses their unconditional agreement with the terms of these RULES OF OPERATION.
1.7. Players and their companions are allowed to enter the course in appropriate golf attire that respects general and local customs (including footwear).
2. Access to the course
2.1. Access to the resort’s courses is subject to a fee. Each player is required to report in person at the resort’s golf reception before starting play. Fees must be paid before play. When identifying themselves at reception, visitors may be asked to prove their identity with a Slovak Golf Association (SKGA) card or other identification document.
2.2. If a player is a foreign national or a Slovak national residing abroad for a long period of time, they may be allowed to play without presenting their HCP or green card. If the marshal or course manager assesses that a player is unfit to play, they are entitled to ask the player to leave the course.
2.3. Golf reception staff shall record the details of players who agree to the operator processing the following data for the purposes of operating the golf course, in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll., as amended personal data obtained in connection with the provision of services to the player to the extent necessary for player identification.
2.4. Throughout the game, the player is required, at the request of the marshal, to present proof of payment of the game fee; club members shall present their identification card. Otherwise, the player may be excluded from the game and expelled from the course premises.
2.5. The operating hours of the course, reception, and practice areas are determined seasonally and according to seasonal and weather conditions. In their own interest, those interested in playing usually check the specific times on the resort’s website or in person at the golf reception. The opening hours are also posted at the entrance to the resort’s golf reception.
2.6. Players and their companions enter the course at their own risk. Players and their companions are required to behave considerately on the course and in such a way that they do not endanger their own health or that of other players or persons on the course or in its vicinity. They are also required to behave in such a way that their activities do not cause damage to the property of the operator or other persons.
2.7. Visitors who are not participating in a golf game or officially registered at the reception as a player’s companion may not enter the course without the permission of the golf reception and the course marshal.
2.8. Children under the age of 10 may only play when accompanied by adults (exceptions are tournaments for players under 10 years of age).
2.9. Players and non-playing visitors are strictly prohibited from picking up golf balls other than their own on the playing areas of the course. It is forbidden to enter the driving range landing area. It is strictly forbidden to collect range balls from the tee area, play with range balls on the course, or remove range golf balls belonging to the resort from the resort premises. Anyone who does so is obliged to compensate the operator for the damage caused and may be expelled from the course by the marshal or SBS service and expelled from the club by the disciplinary committee.
2.10. Players and non-playing visitors are strictly prohibited from entering areas where play is prohibited and entry is prohibited.
2.11. Outside of operating hours and when not playing, it is forbidden to enter the court, except for exceptions issued by the operator. It is only permitted to move around the premises on marked paths.
3. Visitors’ obligations
3.1. Visitors are required to observe safety rules throughout the resort and not to endanger other visitors or persons and animals outside the resort in any way.
3.2. Visitors are required to follow the operating instructions of marshals, greenkeepers, and other employees and to respect notices and warning signs on the course. Failure to comply will result in players being expelled from the premises and investigated by the disciplinary committee.
3.3. All visitors acknowledge that golf is being played on the course and that there is a risk of injury from being hit by a golf ball. In the event of failure to comply with the instructions of the resort operator’s employees and the instructions on the warning signs or published in the OPERATING RULES, the operator shall not be liable for any injury to visitors.
3.4. Players are required to follow the rules of golf, golf etiquette, and local rules listed on the “Score card” documents for each course. Violation of these rules may result in expulsion from the game without compensation.
3.5. When playing at a distance where the player cannot see or has impaired visibility, or where other participants are in front of him and within his reach, he is obliged to ensure that his actions do not cause damage or injury and to act accordingly. This means that all players, in the interest of smooth play, play briskly and at a set pace. The time standards for play are listed on the score card.
3.6. Only coaches with valid contracts with the resort operator and in accordance with the valid price lists for the given year are authorized to teach golf at this resort.
3.7. Players are required to repair divots, pitch marks, and bunkers they have entered. This notice is also located in all significant places on all three golf courses.
3.8. Players must not disturb their surroundings with excessive noise, the use of mobile phones and other means of communication, or behavior that is incompatible with golf etiquette and good manners.
3.9. The premises of the resort are monitored by industrial cameras for the purpose of protecting the operator’s property. Only employees authorized by the operator have access to the camera recordings.
4. Additional provisions
4.1. Outside of the operating hours of the playgrounds, movement of persons on the playground areas is prohibited, with the exception of maintenance staff. Swimming or any hunting activities are prohibited in the water reservoirs of the playground.
4.2. Children under the age of 10 must not be left unattended anywhere on the resort premises. It is strictly forbidden to leave children unattended on the playgrounds.
4.3. Dogs and other pets are not allowed to roam freely on the premises. They may only be walked on a leash within the resort premises. Visitors may take their pets on a leash to the practice areas. Pets must not disturb other visitors by barking, other noisy behavior, or movement. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets. Animals are only allowed on the golf course, in restaurants, at the reception, and in the club house with the prior consent of the responsible employees of these facilities.
4.4. Any modifications or relocation of advertising stands, machinery, information, boundary or other equipment is prohibited for all visitors.
4.5. It is prohibited to engage in sports activities other than golf and footgolf in the designated areas of the golf courses.
4.6. Visitors to the resort may only park their vehicles in designated parking spaces. The car park is not guarded, and the operator is not responsible for theft or damage to visitors’ vehicles or items left in them.
4.7. Lockers for storing visitors’ personal belongings are located in the changing rooms at the golf reception. These are intended only for the storage of civilian clothing and, if necessary, common personal belongings that visitors cannot keep with them during the game, but under no circumstances for the storage of valuables or other items of higher value that are not normally carried. The operator is not responsible for the loss or destruction of valuables or other items of higher value as described in the previous sentence. Bags and golf carts can be stored in the caddy room only with the consent of the golf reception.
4.8. Visitors who behave inappropriately, as well as visitors under the influence of alcohol or narcotic and psychotropic substances, may be expelled from the golf resort premises by the marshal or other responsible representative of the operator.
4.9. Visitors are fully responsible for any damage caused to the health of persons or property on the premises and its surroundings as a result of their actions.
4.10. Visitors are required to maintain order on the golf course premises. Throughout the entire premises, in all open spaces and on all grassy areas, there is a strict ban on discarding cigarette butts and other litter.
4.11. Vulgar behavior and behavior that endangers the health and life of marshals, reception staff, and other personnel, as well as towards other visitors and players, is considered a gross violation of the RULES OF CONDUCT, and visitors engaging in such behavior may be expelled from the golf resort.
4.12. Visitors to the golf resort, as well as LGK club members, are required to comply with these OPERATING RULES, the instructions of the course operator, and the principles of safety, hygiene, and fire protection. In the event of a violation of these OPERATING RULES, the SKGA competition rules, SKGA handicap rules, competition conditions, golf rules and golf etiquette, or generally accepted principles of golf, the person concerned may be expelled from the golf resort premises without the possibility of reimbursement of the playing fee, annual club fee, or other fees paid.
4.13. Visitors or LGK members who repeatedly fail to comply with the OPERATING RULES and other provisions under point 4.12. may be denied access to the golf resort. In the case of a member of the Lomnický Golf Club, they may be expelled from the Club in accordance with Article 2, point 12, paragraph VI.
4.14. The resort operator and its authorized employees have the right to restrict or completely exclude public access to the golf resort premises if they deem it appropriate in order to ensure the protection of human health and prevent damage to the property of the resort operator or third parties. This also applies to closed events for invited guests only.
4.15. Players and visitors use the resort facilities at their own risk and are responsible for any damage caused by violating the OPERATING RULES. Any damage or accidents discovered must be reported immediately to the reception desk or one of the responsible persons.
4.16. The operator of the premises is not liable for damage to equipment and personal belongings of visitors brought onto the premises.
5. Organizational measures for players and their accompanying persons
5.1. Players are required to register in person at the golf reception desk in advance of their game, ideally 15 minutes before their tee time. Playing on the course without registration is not permitted.
5.2. Accompanying non-playing persons and pets must be reported at the golf reception desk upon registration.
5.3. Players must start play at the designated tee time and should be at the first tee at least 10 minutes before their tee time. If a player arrives at the first tee after their tee time, the marshal has the right to move their tee time to the next hole.
5.4. It is essential to follow the prescribed order of holes and to respect the instructions of the reception and marshal regarding the start from hole no. 1, no. 10, or no. 19.
5.5. In the event of slow play, the marshal has the right to ask the slow group to move to the next hole after giving prior warning.
5.6. Each player may play with a maximum of one ball (except for a provisional ball); if playing with multiple balls, this requirement must be reported to the course marshal.
5.7. Each player on the course has their own bag; multiple players playing from one bag is prohibited.
5.8. Players are required to maintain the pace of play at all times.
5.9. A fast group does not automatically have priority; it is only allowed to move ahead by the marshal or by mutual agreement between the members of both groups.
5.10. A player playing alone may not force priority and thus restrict other players.
6. Safety measures
6.1. In the event of a storm (or threat of a storm), players and visitors are required to immediately interrupt play or training and quickly move to the resort’s protected areas (even without an audible siren signal). Visitors are required to immediately interrupt play even if an audible signal sounds.
6.2. Visitors are required to immediately report any extraordinary events (injury, damage, or loss of items stored in lockers) as well as damage to the court or other property of the operator to the operator.
6.3. A first aid kit is available at the reception desk for first aid purposes. It is equipped in accordance with applicable regulations and in accordance with the services provided.
6.4. Visitors to the resort are required to behave considerately on the resort premises and in such a way that they do not endanger their own health or that of other players or persons on the course or in its vicinity. They are also required to behave in such a way that their activities do not cause damage to the property of the operator or other persons.
7. Use of golf carts
When renting a golf cart on the course, the user of the golf cart is required to comply with the following rules:
7.1. The player/driver is required to pay the rental fee for the cart at the reception desk before playing.
7.2. The minimum age of the player/driver is 16 years. Only persons over 18 years of age may rent a cart.
7.3. It is prohibited to drive a cart under the influence of alcohol or other addictive and psychotropic substances.
7.4. Number of persons in the cart – maximum 2 persons.
7.5. Movement with the car on the course is only permitted on paved roads or fairways, or on roughs in the case of a waterlogged course. On par 3 holes, only on paved roads.
7.6. Players/drivers are required to respect the information system on the course and in the golf carts themselves, which defines the prohibition of golf carts.
7.7. If there is no road for golf carts near the green, the rule of not entering within 30 meters of individual greens applies.
7.8. Players are required to maintain a safe speed.
7.9. The player/driver is responsible for any damage to property or injury caused to themselves or third parties while operating the golf cart. The player must report any malfunction of the cart to the reception desk immediately after discovering it.
7.10. After finishing the game, the player/driver is required to park the cart in the designated area and return the key to the same place where the cart was rented.
7.11. The player/driver is obliged to move the cart only within the resort premises.
7.12. In case of violation of points 8.1 to 8.11, the player/driver may have the cart taken away and may be excluded from the game without compensation.
7.13. The use of members’ private golf carts on the course and within the golf resort is only possible after payment of the relevant fees and agreement with the operator.
8. Effectiveness
8.1. These OPERATING RULES of the golf resort are valid and effective from August 1, 2024.

Lomnický golfový klub, o.z. (Lomnický Golf Club), as a sports organization operating at the Black Stork Golf Resort, as an entity adhering to the rules set forth in these Operating Rules.
